Your Opinion: What Do You Want From MXD?
This post will be open to any suggestions you might have for MXD. If you have any ideas, suggestions on the kind of stuff to write about or anything else and you would like everyone else reading this post to know about them and maybe even discuss them, then this post should help you do so.

I would like to know beyond the glitz and the glamour what is it like to truly live there.
I'm not a nightlife type of person, so beside the bars and the clubs that I hear so many expats talk about...what is there to do for fun?! How easy or difficult it is to make friends?!
I would also like to know is it really a good idea for a single female to be living in Dubai? As a male, I would like to know your thoughts on this? Be honest! =P
P.S. I do have many more questions in regards to cultural issues, race, job opportunities, etc...but I think I am going to wait a while considering you haven't moved there yet!

I don't know where my fascination for the Middle East developed. I have always been interesting the culture and customs of people living there. Although I have never been to Dubai, I know a lot about the UAE and Oman through my readings and curiosity.
Could you tell me more about the freedom given to women in Dubai.

It's nice to hear that you a re a frquant visitor. The middle east IS a fasinating place so, it is no wonder why you and many others like would be interested.
In my opinion, women here are very free in what they do and what they wear. And I have to emphasise "what they wear".
I don't want to get more into detail but thank you for the suggestion and I might bring that topic up in a different post in the near future.
